In last week’s email, we mentioned an exciting virtual conference that is coming up on Oct. 22 and 23. We are collaborating with the Utah and Mountain West (Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming) credit union associations to bring you two half days of training in a virtual environment. It will allow you to hear great sessions and connect with industry knowledge for an affordable price, and yet, not leave your home or office!

Note that the conference agenda includes two sessions by outstanding speakers that are just for supervisory committee members. These sessions will be recorded and available for 30 days after the live session for registrants.

• Day One includes a breakout session with David Reed on Challenges Facing the Supervisory Committee: Understanding Expectations/Avoiding Landmines. Those of you who have heard David speak know that he has a vast amount of knowledge and experience that he delivers in a down-to-earth and entertaining manner.
• Day Two has speaker Ancin Cooley delivering a breakout session on Supervisory Committee Deep Dive: Beyond the Basics. As a speaker and founder of The Comprehensive Supervisory Committee Course and Synergy Bank Consulting, Ancin can assist your committee in focusing on your role in an efficient and effective manner.
