Montana Credit Unions for Community Development

Montana Credit Unions for Community Development (MCUCD) is a statewide nonprofit organization working together with Montana’s credit unions to improve the social and economic well-being of all Montanans.

We work closely with our parent organization, Montana’s Credit Unions, which has served as the state credit union trade association for over 70 years. Did you know credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives owned by their members? That’s right—credit unions have no stockholders and are run by an unpaid volunteer board of directors!

Currently MCUCD’s efforts center in the following areas:

• Matched savings accounts
• Consumer resources
• WINcentive program
• Financial education

MCUCD also has a 501(c)(3) charitable designation from the IRS.

We are passionate about credit unions and the work we do. Whether it is through matched savings accounts, consumer resources, or financial education, we are here to help you reach your financial goals.
