May 24, 2024 — Four credit union professionals were recognized at Montana’s Credit Unions annual Power Up conference this week. The organization is proud to acknowledge the following individuals who demonstrate leadership beyond their credit unions, maintain unrelenting dedication to the credit union principles, and serve as mentors in their credit unions and communities:

  • Professional of the Year: Jack Lawson, Clearwater Credit Union
  • Young Professional of the Year: Erin Knerr, Fergus Federal Credit Union
  • Mitch Reed Volunteer of the Year: Paul Dockter, Montana Credit Union
  • Philosophy in Action Award Award: Kelly Fleiner, Rocky Mountain Credit Union

“Living out credit union values daily is in the DNA of these leaders,” said Gerry Singleton, Montana’s Credit Unions President/CEO. “Each of these leaders is a role model and influencer in their credit unions and communities, where they live out the credit union philosophy and walk the talk of ‘people helping people.’”

Though varied in their positions and years of service, all three individuals are exceptional leaders and well-deserving of recognition.
