The latest Montana credit union employee to earn the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) designation is Krysta Dziak! As a quality assurance specialist with Rocky Mountain Credit Union, Krysta completed studies and testing in January to become certified.

She joined the Rocky Mountain Credit Union team six and a half years ago as an MSR II and is now part of the risk management team. Her supervisor Tracy Thornburg said Krysta’s certification “adds to her keen, risk based (eagle) eye, especially as she reviews member information and manages our identity theft program.”

CUNA’s BSACS program allows a credit union employee to showcase their “commitment to identifying the latest forms of illicit financial activities and understanding evolving Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.” It requires self-study and broad knowledge of the BSA.
