PRESIDENT/CEO — LIVINGSTON, MT

March 17Sky Federal Credit Union (Sky FCU), with approximately $200 million in assets, has launched a search for a Chief Executive Officer to replace the current CEO who is soon retiring. Sky FCU is an outstanding organization with headquarters in Livingston and six branches located in Montana. The credit union’s field of membership consists of 28 counties within Montana, northern Wyoming, and southern Idaho. Sky FCU has a strong focus on growth and has been very successful both by caring for its members’ consumer lending and depository needs and by focusing on a commercial lending portfolio.

This position requires conducting business development activities and participating in community and business events to promote the credit union’s visibility and continued growth. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. The new CEO must be able to work collaboratively with the board of directors in defining the strategic direction of the credit union and must be an experienced executive who can provide outstanding leadership and direction while overseeing the safety and soundness of the credit union’s financial structure. The new CEO needs to be an individual with a proven track record of excellence who has a high degree of integrity, excellent communications skills, and knowledge and experience in commercial lending. A minimum of either three years of experience in senior management or five years of responsible experience in a financial institution of equal or greater size is desired. A strong, equivalent experience in commercial lending may be considered.

PAYMENTS REPRESENTATIVE — MISSOULA, MT

March 19– Clearwater Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Payments Representative. The person in this role supports the credit union’s payments products like ACH, checks, wire transfers, debit and credit cards, mobile check deposit, bill pay, and Zelle. They process and reconcile payments to member accounts and the related general ledgers. They are a part of the credit union’s team that monitors, identifies, and prevents fraudulent transactions and directly help members with questions relating to fraud and disputes, using troubleshooting, researching, and problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries and issues with payment products. A successful applicant must be organized and able to process quickly and accurately. They would be detail-oriented with outstanding problem-solving skills, skilled in interpersonal communication and leadership, and have exceptional member service and telephone etiquette. They would also need the ability to make sound decisions and enjoy the mix of independent work while contributing to the team-oriented environment. FRAUD SPECIALIST — GREAT FALLS, MT

The person in this role supports the credit union’s fraud prevention and mitigation activities. They monitor, research, and analyze financial transactions to identify irregularities and potential fraudulent activity and take appropriate actions to mitigate and minimize the risk of financial loss. LOAN OFFICER — SCOBEY, MT

February 24 –  Daniels Sheridan Federal Credit Union is accepting applications for a full-time Loan Officer at its Scobey location. The credit union’s loan officers are responsible for interviewing current and potential borrowers; analyzing loan applications, supporting documentation, and applicants’ credit history; gathering background information and documentation; and approving loans based on underwriting and analysis. The position entails working with borrowers in consumer, real estate, commercial, and agriculture areas. The person in this position is expected to build and maintain relationships with members and coworkers, handle member information professionally and confidentially, work independently at times, and to maintain and promote the credit union in a positive manner. They must also be able to obtain their Insurance Provider License (Paid Training). INTERNAL AUDITOR — SPOKANE (WA), BOISE (ID), OR MONTANA

February 11  Horizon Credit Union is looking to hire an Internal Auditor II for a hybrid/remote work setting based out of Spokane, Boise, or the credit union’s Montana region. The person in this position will perform compliance, operational, financial, and ad-hoc risk-based audits for the credit union in accordance with the annual audit plan. They will lead as well as support audits as assigned by the director of internal audit. Their responsibilities include reviewing records, documents, loans, policies and procedures, financial, and operational processes to identify internal controls. In addition, they will also perform testing on identified controls and document and report their conclusions while also assisting with other audit functions and supporting various projects across the organization. LOAN & MEMBER SERVICE SUPERVISOR — GREAT FALLS, MT

January 27Montana Credit Union is seeking a leadership-minded individual to guide our loan and member services staff in Great Falls! The Loan and Member Service Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of loan officers, member service representatives, member service guides, and loan and member service support. The supervisor manages business development regarding consumer loan growth and cross-selling credit union products and services. They also manage a diverse loan portfolio and monitor credit performance to ensure loan and credit quality comply with MCU’s lending policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. In addition, this role will build and strengthen relationships with members and co-workers, direct and evaluate staff performance, and ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established MCU policies, procedures, guidelines, and audit standards.


BUSINESS LOAN OFFICER — BUTTE, MT

January 17 Clearwater Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Business Loan Officer position in its Butte branch. The person in this position is responsible for assisting business members with their commercial lending needs, being a resource of information for business members, and building stronger relationships in the business community. Responsibilities will include interviewing business members to determine their needs and obtain relevant documentation to make informed credit decisions, structuring and negotiating terms to close loans, managing a loan portfolio, and performing collections and workouts of troubled loans when necessary. The position also involves participating with local boards and volunteering for various community events. Qualified applicants will have 1 to 3 years of business lending experience (including time spent as a credit analyst) along with strong written and verbal communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. They must be self-motivated with strong sales abilities and excellent computer skills. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration or the equivalent work experience is preferred. TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST — KALISPELL, MT

January 10 Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Technical Support Analyst III for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position acts as a primary contact for technical support at the credit union. They serve as a point of escalation for technical issues within the technology support team and as the bridge between the technical support team and Whitefish CU’s infrastructure and business solutions teams. This role emphasizes efficient problem resolution, user account management, and system performance improvement while fostering collaboration across departments.


BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST — KALISPELL, MT

January 10 Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Business Systems Analyst for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position is responsible for optimizing efficiencies throughout the organization by performing process evaluation, software configuration, and implementation of new applications to our suite of banking solutions. They provide tiered support of banking software systems including enhancements to existing systems.

PROJECT ANALYST AND MANAGER — KALISPELL, MT

December 4 Whitefish Credit Union is looking for a full-time Project Analyst and Manager for its Kalispell Operations Center. The person in this position serves as a solution architect for credit union projects, acting as the conduit for requirements that flow between the project owner and the stakeholders’ teams. They also develop, lead, and manage assigned projects, using established PMO processes to make sure the projects are completed in a timely manner.


UNIVERSAL ASSOCIATE — BOZEMAN, MT

December 4Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a Universal Associate position in its Bozeman branch. The person in this role is responsible for assisting members with all their financial needs. The role is all-encompassing and requires the universal associate to advise all members on account options, sales solutions, service transactions, consumer loans, self-service channels, and high-level budgeting.
